Word of the Month: Responsibility and Obedience

Blending Reverence and Disobedience

Text: 2 Kings 17:40-41.

Howbeit they did not hearken, but they did after their former manner. So these nations feared the Lord , and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
2 Kings 17:40‭-‬41 KJV

1. Pray that you will never blend reverence with disobedience by entertaining any form of idol worship.

2. Pray that the generations after you will not walk in disobedience by worshipping graven images.

3. Pray that your loved ones will not mix reverence for God with disobedience.

4. Pray that as the Lord adds new members to your local church, disobedience will be cast out.

5. Pray that true God-worship will be modelled unto the younger generation in your nation.

Let's pray!
