Authority to Resist

Text: James 4:7-8
 
[7] Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. [8] Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 
James 4:7-8 KJV
 
1. Pray that you will draw nearer to God and fully submit to His authority.
 
2. Pray that you will exert resistive authority over the devil.
 
3. Pray that your loved ones will clean their hands and submit to God's authority.
 
4. Pray that the members of your local church will take their position of authority through humility, purity and single-mindedness.
 
5. Pray that the people in your nation will cleanse their hearts and hands, placing themselves under God's authority.
