Amnon Effect: Taboos in Families

Text: 2 Samuel 13:32-33

And Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother, answered and said, Let not my Lord suppose that they have slain all the young men the king's sons; for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of Absalom this hath been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar. Now therefore let not my Lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.

2 Samuel 13:32‭-‬33 KJV

1. Pray that all lust and incestuous thoughts and tendencies will be completely killed off in you.

2. Pray that the hidden sins and secret defiling acts which have been hindering family unity will be exposed and addressed.

3. Pray that the sources of premature death and murderous tendencies in the homes of your loved will be uprooted.

4. Pray that the homes of the members of your local church will be completely healed from the guilt and woes of hidden sins in the family.

5. Pray that the victims of rape, incest and murders in the families in your nation will receive God's healing and forgiveness.
